Hack My Study is committed to respecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Website hosting data

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of standard web hosting. This data is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy and is not accessed by us for tracking purposes.

We do not use analytics or tracking

  • No Google Analytics
  • No Facebook Pixel
  • No third-party tracking scripts
  • No cookies for advertising
  • No fingerprinting

Search

Site search is powered by Pagefind, which runs entirely in your browser. Search queries are not sent to any server.

Tools

All tools on this site (Pomodoro timer, study schedule builder, distraction audit, reading time estimator) run entirely in your browser. No data from these tools is transmitted to any server.

Contact

If you email us at hello@hackmystudy.com, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry. We don't add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell personal data.
  • We don't share personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We don't build user profiles.
  • We don't use retargeting or behavioural advertising.

Cookies

This site does not set first-party cookies for tracking purposes. Cloudflare may set technical cookies necessary for site delivery and security (e.g., bot detection). These are not used for advertising.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data

Since we collect minimal data, in most cases there's nothing to access or delete. If you have a concern, email us at hello@hackmystudy.com.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we don't use tracking, analytics, or account systems, the risk of inadvertent collection is minimal.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and note it in our changelog.
