Tools
Free, browser-based study tools. No sign-up. No tracking. Everything runs on your device.
Every tool on this page runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. Nothing is stored unless you choose to save it yourself. I built these because the tools I kept recommending to students either required accounts, showed ads, or stopped working after a few months.
These won't. They're simple, they do one thing well, and they'll keep working as long as you have a browser.
- Focus Pomodoro Timer The classic 25/5 focus cycle with gentle audio cues and session tracking. Customizable intervals. No distracting features — just a timer that works.
- Planning Study Schedule Builder Enter your classes, commitments, and available hours. Get a realistic weekly study plan you can print or screenshot. Adjusts for energy levels throughout the day.
- Environment Distraction Audit Answer 12 quick questions about your study environment. Get a score and specific, actionable changes ranked by impact. Takes about 2 minutes.
- Planning Reading Time Estimator Paste text or enter a word count, set your reading speed, and get an honest estimate of how long it will actually take — with time for notes and review.
Why local-only tools matter
When you're studying, the last thing you need is another app asking for your email. These tools are designed to reduce friction, not add to it. Open the page, use the tool, close the page. That's it.
